Description
Ah, I just love to explore and extrapolate on this side of Anders' life. I know, its kind of morbid. But it made him who he is today.
I find it hard to imagine Anders life having been easy. No amount of possession could convince someone to decide to blow up a religious institution and start a mage rebellion, without their having those feeling buried within them to begin with.
Nothing is that simple. Justice just gave him the courage to fight back.
He is skinny, with scars on his back and his wrists. Shorter hair because he is younger. He doesn't cry, he doesn't scream because he still has that same passion that is 'Anders.' He is not going to let the Templars beat him. Not like this.
I used a reference for this (pfft, what do you take me for, an artist?) from on deviant art. There are some really inspiring poses here. It was extraordinarily helpful.

Um. Oh lord. Anders feels!
No, I completely agree, though. In TSES I have a point where I sort of get to detail his scarring - and I figure him for having quite a fair bit of it, from several different sources. I really like the anatomy and shading, and, though this sounds soooooo dark to say, the way you draw wounds. /shame
But seriously! I can't do it, not at all. It's just like... random lines! not convincing! but whatever! But yours actually look right!
